there are two kinds of sea Island fiber : one is unfigured sea-island fiber; one is figured sea island staple fiber. there are 200 -800 sea-island in the unfigured one. unfigured sea-island fiber become fluff in the dyeing process, the dye is not easy to get into the fibers, not easy color, as for the figured sea island fiber, it is easy for color.it closest to the natural suede fineness , 64 PNT sea-island staple fiber will reach the fineness of 0.03 denier (diameter 5 microns per filament, only hair 1/200) after reduction (reduction using toluene-PNT), it is very uniform, soft, and most suitable for garment and leather.
