The Standing Committee of Linyi County People's Congress inspects the ecological environment protection work in the whole county

On the morning of March 7th, Chen Jiehua, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of Linyi County People's Congress, led some members of the Standing Committee and People's Congress deputies to inspect the ecological environment protection work in the whole county. Zhao Qiang, a county People's Congress deputy and assistant general manager of the company, participated in the inspection.

The inspection team visited Limin Reservoir, Tiandingfeng Non woven Fabric Co., Ltd., Nanguan area demolition site, Shandong Anhong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and other places to inspect the pollution prevention and control work of water, air, dust and other pollutants in our county. Subsequently, a symposium was held to listen to the report of Linyi Branch of the Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau on the environmental status and completion of environmental protection goals in the county for the year 2022. The inspection team fully affirmed the achievements of our county's ecological environment protection work and conducted separate evaluations. The opinions put forward by Zhao Qiang, a county People's Congress representative and assistant general manager of the company, based on the inspection results, were unanimously recognized by the inspection team and relevant departments.

The inspection team believes that our county has conscientiously implemented the "Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Regulations on Environmental Protection Prevention and Control in Shandong Province", worked together to control environmental pollution in key areas under joint management, and successfully completed various environmental protection goals and tasks for the year 2022.

  We need to further strengthen publicity and guidance, create a good atmosphere of public participation, and make environmental protection awareness deeply rooted in people's hearts. We need to further improve the working mechanism, establish a sound prevention and control mechanism, a mechanism for rewarding compliance and integrity, and a mechanism for punishing illegal behavior, and solidly promote the construction of a long-term mechanism for ecological protection. We need to further implement the new development concept, coordinate environmental protection and economic development, and make greater contributions to promoting high-quality economic and social development in the entire county through high-level protection of the ecological environment.
